The Music Fest has always stayed away from the intense Internet discussions pertaining to the vast difference in quality of music between the Rock ‘n’ Roll era and the music of the 3rd Millennium.
However, the following two videos from 2014 and 2015 really illustrate the profound differences which are often highlighted by music aficionados.
The first video with almost 1.5 billion views was produced by Meghan Trainor under the title All About That Bass.

The juxtaposition of these two music videos says it all about the REAL differences which exist between the 2 generations. WOW, and what a difference there is!
Of course, the number of views for each song also says a LOT about today’s audience and their music listening preferences. 1.5 billion compared to 1.8 million!
Disclosure:
The Music Fest did proclaim Love Is as our “Song of the Year” for 2015. Yes, it’s that friggin’ good! ! !
